About Pamela...

Hello from the beautiful, historic city of Kingston, Canada.

I work in a Pharmacy, am married and have two grown children and a wonderful little granddaughter..

We have two wonderful cats, Wesley and Simon ( who just came to live with us on January 30/17.
They are both "rescue" cats, and I hope that everyone would consider giving an older, homeless cat a home. They will thank you with a lifetime of love. That's Wesley as my avatar!

I love to do almost anything in the outdoors. I enjoy walking, hiking, canoeing, birdwatching and gardening. I love the winter as well and love to walk in the snow, cross country ski and skate.

I also enjoy indoor activites such as cooking, baking, knitting, listening to music and reading. There is almost nothing better than being curled up by the fire with a good book and a warm cat on your lap!

And, though I mostly like quiet activities, I love the roar of a jet engine, and love spotting planes! My husband and I love to visit our nearby military air base to see what's flying!

I love to travel, to visit art galleries and museums, and I love all animals.

I love surprises so I know I will love any card that you choose for me. A hand made card is very special and I love to see ad cards from other countries! If you would like some ideas of some of the things I like........

- what you love most about your country
- birds, butterflies or flowers from your country
- scenes of lakes, mountains, forests or any natural beauty
- cats, guinea pigs, dogs, owls, sheep and alpacas (I'd love a platypus from Australia)
- the ocean and lighthouses
- historic locations or buildings
- black and white "vintage style" cards
- paintings (especially Japanese/Asian art)
- Airplane cards ( or anything military related for my husband!)
- my husband is also a huge Godzilla fan.........

I collect stamps, so I am always happy to receive a nice stamp on the card.

I look forward to hearing from you, and as a very proud Canadian, I'd love to share a little bit of my country with you.

Pamela
