Hello! I live just outside of Chicago and am excited to be a part of postcrossing!
Post cards I enjoy are ones that show sites, or have things specific to the region. I love Elvis, the Stones,all things Hugh Laurie, outhouses, black and white, vampire lore, medical oddities, freaks,cemetary monuments, squirrels,sea horses, gnomes, carousels, and I would love to have cards with the Pyramids of Giza, or the other wonders of the world. I love sunset/sunrise scenes, natural phenomenoms (like rock formations or mountains, or funky trees),
I like autumn and winter scenes as well.
Risque and nudes are ok, and if you have touristy cards, those are much appreciated!
I've become a fan of "map" cards as well.
Lately I've become interested in typewriter cards of all over the world, old-fashioned typewriters. If you have one I'd love it!
If you're from Hawaii, I'm desperately looking for Papahānaumokuākea or the volcanic cards.
I like cards of nature (ie streams, woods, etc) rather than people, unless it's odd.
