About Polina...

Hello to all the postcrossers out there!

My name is Polina. I'm 21 and I'm from Saint-Petersburg. Saint-Pete is the second largest city in Russia, situated in the North-West of the country, on the Baltic Sea. The city is world-famous for its main museum - the Hermitage, its role in the Russian Revolution, its brave resistance during the Second World War and many-many Russian writers, poets, artists, scientists that were born or lived here.

As for me, I'm a fifth year student in Economics. This is my final year of studies and I'm now writing my thesis. I'm not yet sure what I will be doing after I graduate, but inevitably in 4 months I'll find it out :)

My free time is given to reading ('pollytomat' on Goodreads.com), watching movies (I love all kinds of movies except for the horrors), listening to music (give me an indie British boys band and I'll be a fan of it), doing sports (swimming and pilates mostly) and of course tweeting, tumblring and wasting my time on the Internet.

I'm interested in direct swaps and if you want to be penpals just message me.

I'll be happy to receive any postcard (except for the ad postcrads). Choose something you like!

You can write about you, your country, your city or give me some book/movie recommendations, write a recipe that you tried and liked. But please-please-please: don't send an emprty postcard without any text, just the address. Such postcards make me very saaaaaaaaad :'(

Я говорю по-русски, je parle français, I speak English, io parlo italiano, ich lese in Deutsch (but only when the handwriting is easy to understand :)
