My name is Alissa I'm 40. Sending/collecting postcards is one of my hobbies. Minnesota can vary from -35*F to 50*F in just a small span of a few days. I have one dog, 2 kittens and lots of chickens. My avatar is one of my chickens named Gretchen - she was the runt of the litter.
I love to read! I listen to audiobooks for books that were written a long time ago, such as Jane Austen, as I find I can understand the story much better. I recently loved reading a series by Bella Forrest and I started a second series by her. I recommend checking them out (The Gender Games and The Girl Who Dared to Think). I'm also re-reading the Harry Potter series again! I read everything by Mira Grant!
I'm currently getting back into doing creative things - I found my happiness levels go way up if I do even simple creative things like coloring in a coloring book.
While I'd love to know so much about where you come from, if you could send a postcard about your city/country and/or a little note about your life there, a book or podcast that you recommend, that'd be great. If you can't, that's okay, too! I just enjoy receiving postcards!
