Hello everybody!
My name is Paola and I live in a small town near Turin with my husband and our son (who was born in November 2008).
I have been collecting viewcards stamped and addressed to me (sent without envelope) from all over the world for nearly 25 years now. I started when I was 14 years old.
I would LIKE to receive postcards from small towns and villages because they are the most difficult ones to find. So every viewcard showing:
● a city
● a town
● a village
● a seaside/mountain resort
● a lake
● a river
● in other words a specific geographical place
will be VERY WELCOME.
● I love to receive postcards with the right stamp on (I mean, for example, postcards from French towns with a French stamp on and not German postcards sent from Belgium).
However, if you want to get an idea of the kind of postcards I prefer, just have a look at my favourites gallery (http://www.postcrossing.com/user/Paola/gallery/favourites). As you will see, bird-eye-view and typical tourist postcards are the ones I like most.
On the contrary, I really DO NOT like the following subjects:
animals, flowers, drawings, paintings, children, babies, ad, free or hand made cards! So, please, please, please, avoid sending me that kind of postcards. Thank you very much!
For my part, I always try to meet other people's preferences as long as I can.
Anyone from Ystad (Sweden)? I would love to get a postcard from Kurt Wallander's town!
