My name is Lori and I live in the Cape Winelands. I am a designer involved with fashion, interiors, furniture, greeting cards et al. I am an "up-cycler" and love changing old things and remaking them for our modern times. I love fashion of all sorts. I do all sorts of arts and crafts from traditional needlework to decoupage and rubber stamping. I am a HUGE Catholic, a HUGE rugby fan and a HUGE Bob Dylan fan. Below are lots of subjects I like and collect but in no order of preference.
I love vintage - especially:
1. old movie stars - James Dean, Marilyn, Audrey, etc etc;
2. Beatles, Elvis, Bob Dylan, The Rolling Stones, etc
3. Victorian;
4. interiors of homes;
5. vintage fashion - love old fashion images;
6. artists such as Art Nouveau, Art Deco, Norman Rockwell and Tretchikoff
7. vintage prints such as Liberty, Arts and Crafts etc
8. anything in SEPIA tones;
9. old cars
