My name is Paula. I'm very interested in different cultures worldwide. I'm a Brazilian young lady who wants to know about your country. And the cheapest way to do it is receiving a postcard. Doesn't matter how far your city or town is from the countryside of Sao Paulo, where I live. Your postcard is welcome.

But, please, I'd love receive postcards that show something about your customs and images from where you live. My favourite postcards are the touristic ones with single views from your country. Not being a despicable or a narrow-minded person, but I really don't like ordinary advertisement cards very much, so please don't send them to me. Otherwise, I like free promotional postcards, especially in the art-style from art galleries. Also I'm interested in art in general, vintage-retro art, and pin-ups girls as well. My favourite is Bettie Page.

All of us appreciate music, right? I really appreciate pop-rock songs and rock'n'roll artists such as Keith Richards, David Bowie, T.Rex's Marc Bolan, Marianne Faithfull,The Who's Keith Moon, Lux Interior of The Cramps, Nick Cave and Joe Strummer, etc. During the 90's I was a big fan of Kurt Cobain&Courtney Love... and I still I do like them! Nowadays my favourite bands are Radiohead and the Foals.
What kind of music do you prefer? I'd like to know :)
And what about films? My favourite one is Roger Corman's
"The Wild Angels" with Peter Fonda and Nancy Sinatra. I do love "Taxi Driver" (1976) with Robert de Niro. And you?
Reading is a great pleasure as well. Some Brazilian and Portuguese writers, and Philip Roth, Mary McCarthy,William Faulkner... I'm a Janeite, which means a Jane Austen huge fan.
I would like to know: what kind of book do you prefer? If you enjoy novels, what's your favourite author? And what was your last book you've read and you've really appreciated?
