About Carolyn...

Howdy fellow post-crossers!
I am from the beautiful coast and port city of Halifax, Nova Scotia, where I live with my family and our two cats.

I have a long, long, long list of hobbies which range from crafts, arts, and sewing to martial arts, music, and dancing...and love trying or learning new things! ^.^ Music is my biggest passion. I play eight instruments, and compose music and write songs. I also am hoping to study audio engineering (recording and such) in school soon.

I LOVE languages and other cultures! I am currently trying to learn German and Brazilian Portuguese (from what I understand it is fairly different from its European counterpart) as well as further my Spanish. I am happy with any postcard, but I would love if you could write a phrase or word (and English translation) in your own language.

Postcard suggestions:
- Any type of postcard (Not picky on the picture, more enjoy getting mail)
- Postcards with Chimpanzees. I am hoping to collect all the ones and then some mentioned in the Bare Naked Ladies Song, "Another Postcard" (http://www.youtube.com/watch?v=CDT_CheEg7o)
- A word or phrase in your language with the English (to help me learn your language!)
- Maybe write about something to do with your country's culture (Story, about your city, a recipe, history, random fact, anything!)
- Music, band, or song suggestions are always welcome!
- Any cool little trivia tidbit

Thanks a million beforehand for all the wonderful postcards! Keep smiling and have a wonderful day. :)
