About Michelle...

Hello! My name is Michelle and I'm 24 years old. I love riding my bike, writing, dancing, and reading. My favorite animal is the manatee. I love crafting and I keep track of the things I make in a blog (mostly crochet). I am originally from California but am now living in Connecticut with my boyfriend and our two cats.

When it comes to the type of cards I receive, I don't have a specific preference. I like cards with pictures of places I've never been, but I also like artwork and silly cards. I just think it's nice that you're taking the time to send me something. I don't get a lot of mail so any postcard is guaranteed to make me happy! I only speak English, but I love languages, so if you don't know what to say, just write something in your native language and then translate it to English for me! Or, if you are from a country that doesn't use the same alphabet as the English language, write my name in your language. I think that stuff is awesome! If you speak mostly English and you're not sure what to say, tell me about your day or week, a recent dream, your hobbies, your favorite book, or anything, really!

In mid-2010, I came across a postcard display in a store that I thought was amazing. There were thousands and thousands of postcards made by a company called Pomegranate. In 1990, the store made a huge purchase of premium Pomegranate post cards, placed them in a warehouse, and then forgot about them. Now, 20 years later, they've been rediscovered, and the store is selling them as vintage cards for 10 cents each. I bought quite a few of them, and they are mostly art cards. If you have received a post card from me, chances are it is from that forgotten collection. If you don't like art cards, I'm sorry, but it's all I have.
