Hi, I'm Olesh,
I come from Russia, but study in Germany.
I'm a computational linguist and I really like what I am doing. Most of my time now I am writing my Master thesis (read: programming to see where my intuition together with statistics can lead me) or working for a project where we create talking robots. I like my job. It feels like building future with my own hands, it feels great!
Apart from that, I'm dancing, knitting, cycling, playing board games, seeing friends, and just hanging around. I am also very interested in architecture, jazz, impressionist painting, history, Russian and European literature of 19th and 20th centuries, Scandinavian culture, fairy tales, myths, poems, and languages (well, of course), but for now the interest is mostly passive.
As for the postcards, my favourite are those with images of unusual buildings or people, art reproductions, nature views, pictures and drawings of animals, birds, or flowers, or just something nice\colourful\quaint. I would also enjoy a postcard with a local view. If you like, write something on its back, I would read it with pleasure =)
