Hello World,
since a few months I joined Postcrossing.com and I think it is a great initiative to get in touch with the rest of the world. Travelling is one of the favourite hobbies of me and my girlfriend, but really expensive so Postcrossing allows me to see the world and get in touch with you. Besides travel, and now Postcrossing, my other hobbies are volleybal (and all kind of other sports) and history. I also study history at the University of Utrecht. My job is to deliver the cards you send, because I work as a mailman and that's also how I got in touch with Postcrossing.
It's great to know that I will receive a card from you in the next few days! My preferences are, if possible of course, to get a card with a picture from your country or city-area on it, like the real touristic cards that show landscapes, buildings, lakes, mountains or national monuments or a card that show something of the history of your country. Maybe you can tell me what your favourite place or building is of your country or city?
Please don't forget to write the date on the card...
