***I have been ill with Lyme Disease. Postcrossing gives me something to do, when I am unable to be otherwise active. But there are times where even responding to emails is too much. Please be patient. I am only able to register my cards once a week. I'm sorry about this, but it's the best I can do.****

I live near the Rocky Mountains in Calgary, a city of over a million people. I live with my husband, and our two cats. I love hiking in the mountains, and getting out in the open air.

I prefer postcards of a child's famous character (like moomin from Finland, Pinocchio form Italy or The Little Prince from France, etc.), or just of a fairytale story.

My list is:
-childhood icons or fairy tales
-Moomin, Kaj Stenvall, Miffy (Dick Bruna), Jip and Janneke, Rosalie and Truttle,gnomes, trolls, Smurfs, Babar, Tintin, etc.
-fantasy (dragons, fairies, unicorns, etc.)
-sci-fi/fantasy TV/movie stars (Harry Potter, The Dark Crystal, Buffy, Angel, Labyrinth, Jim Henson, any superheroes, etc.)
-bugs
-asian theme, especially the Dalai Lama
-rainforest
-animals (NOT cats, dogs or horses) any local animals especially birds, deer, elk, bears, kangaroos, water animals etc.

If this is not possible, I would love something that is unique. I do like tourist cards, but only if they are "special" and a little different. I have been pen palling for 20 years, so have 600+ tourist postcards, so it will need to be something unique to stand out!

I collect stamps, so please put the card in an envelope. You can write on the card. Special edition stamps are appreciated.

I will ONLY swap directly if you can offer me what is on my list. I can offer these things as well, and will go out of my way to find what you want.
