About Anastasia...

Hi!
My name is Anastasia, I'm almost 26, I work as an interpreter for a space industry company (but I don't know much about spacecrafts yet... Science has never been my strong point :) )
I travel a lot for work, always buy postcards in my business trips, so don’t be surprised to receive a card which actually arrived not from Russia, but from some country neighboring to yours. I always have stamps of different countries with me to send cards, so you will be able to trace back the real departure point of my postcard ;)
This lots of travelling makes it difficult to always register a received card as soon as I get it :( They come to my home address and I’m not all the time there. I try to register an arrived card, just when I arrive myself, but it may take some time.
About my home town, by the way. It’s a small town in the heart of Siberia. You can’t just come to my place, we have to go through security control point. And it is making some troubles for me, when I forget of loose my special ID :) Please, don’t think, that it’s so terrible! It’s just annoying sometimes. Nature is really picturesque in my place: great rivers, lakes, mountains, forests, fields… Everything for active leisure! From time to time I take advantage of it all: a bit of canoeing, hiking, swimming. I love to have a free evening of even weekend for cycling. In winter many people here enjoy snowboarding, skiing, ice-skating (But I’m not that involved in winter sports. It can be terribly cold here. You know, Siberia :) )
About myself… I think I’m a person easily keen on different things. I do love photography, sometimes take nice shots and have a big collection of photos of different authors. I like going to theatre, sometimes opera, live concerts in small clubs any performances (and it’s no matter which part of the world I am in). I read books, try to read English books in English, German ones in German (Russian in Russian sure), all the rest in translation. The next language I’m planning to learn is Spanish (my cousin with his family are moving to Argentina and I want to understand my little nephew, who will probably say her first word in Spanish).
Oh, this profile looks already a bit long!

The postcards. I love them. Different ones. With stamps (envelopes are a bit boring).
If you find a card with a beautiful photo or just picture, reproduction of a piece of art, a view of your place (or any nice place you’ve once visited), old postcards, handmade cards… Any kind of card. The one you would like to receive.
In August I have my birthday, so you may send me a greeting card. Here in Russia we celebrate The New Year as the most important holiday of year, so any snowy-windy cards at the end of December will be welcomed.
Please, write a couple of words on your card. Share an idea, recommend a film or a place, a book. Tell me something about yourself or your country. I would appreciate the ability to know something about your life.
Happy postcrossing!
