About Nancy...

Hello! I'm a big city girl from the east coast (USA) that now lives 3000 miles away in a rural town near the west coast. I don’t get to travel much anymore (boo!) and my cultural passion is unfulfilled in the small town I live in. Thankfully, there's Postcrossers!

My interests include origami, mail art, movies (sci-fi, drama & thrillers mostly), sewing stuffed toys, mushroom harvesting, finding treasures at yard sales, hiking with my three crazy dogs, beachcombing, drawing and letterboxing.

I enjoy all different kinds of postcards and have been pleasantly surprised many times by the interesting cards in my mailbox. But I do have preferences so if you have any of these kinds of cards I would be appreciative:
• Local culture or art (I love finding out about regional artists or craftspeople)
• Illustration
• Unusual architecture
• Plants/ Wildlife in your area
• Wild landscapes
• Monuments (especially odd ones)
• Street art
• Quirky- toys, inventions, odd museums, dark humor
• Vintage cards (either the real thing or a reproduction)
• Handmade postcards- I love personal art

I put my address on all cards I send for postal reasons. I don't expect a thank you or any further correspondence. If you want to I don't mind, but I don't expect it. Also, I register cards as soon as I receive them.
