I am a 30 something woman who has dreamed of traveling the world. I intend to take my first trip before I turn 40. In the meantime I am indulging in my favourite childhood memory, sending and receiving postcards. To this day nothing pleases me more than to receive a postcard from friends or family when they are traveling!
I like all sorts of cards, but particularly like:
- Dancers, especially belly dancers or tribal
- Bold colours and funky art
- Women
- Art deco and nouveau
- Mucha and similar
- Fantasy
- Asian style drawings
- Owls
- Blue, purple, red and green
- People
- Goldfish, carp and koi
- Ponds
- Lighthouses
- Sailing ships, yachts, sail boats, row boats, small boats etc not racing yachts or industrial ships though
- Books, libraries and librarians
- Dragons, Phoenix, and other mythical creatures
- Vintage VW Beetles, Minis and other cars
- Jetoy (Korean cat pictures http://www.jetoy.com)
- Birdcages
- Pandas
- Gothic
- Mythical beasts
- Tea cups, tea pots, and cakes etc
- Eyes
- Landscapes
- Historical or natural landmarks
The brighter and artier the better! But really anything goes, because it would be just wonderful to get a card from you.
