I live in Fredericton, New Brunswick,Canada. It is on the East coast of Canada, but not near the ocean. It is a small place of about 50,000 people. Lots of snow in the winter and HOT in the summer.

I am married for 25 years and the mother of twin boys who just entered university. I love to cook and try new recipes. I love to have big BBQ parties by the pool in the summer. In the winter, I like to knit and bake. I always like a party or a night out. I enjoy comedy movies, Miyazaki anime movies, live music concerts (esp. classic rock). I watch the food network, HGTV and DIY TV shows.

I like all types of postcards, there are so many beautiful and interesting cards on the site.

Short list of some of my tastes:
* Landmarks where you live
* Illustrations and art
* Maps
* Traditional costume, activity, food
* Pop culture references or icons
* Anime and Manga and animation
* Rabbits
* American Indian, indigenous peoples
* unusually shaped postcards (ie circle, map cut out, die cut shapes)
* Recipes

But of course I would never ask for anything, we've only just met. I really do like everything.

If you don't know what to write you can tell me about how you spend your day. Let me know your favourite meal. Or what was the weather like today, was it warm? How much does gasoline or milk and bread cost in your corner of the world?

I do prefer postcards without envelopes.

** If there is text written in characters other than English alphabet letters (ie Cyrillic/Chinese/Japanese/Arabic etc.) on the card, could you please translate it into English for me. Thanks.

I don't "favourite" the cards I receive. Those are all my favourites, of course :)
