Hello,
I'm 26 years old, married and mother to a beautiful daughter (2010) and a wonderful son (2011). We also have 2 spoiled little dachshunds named Tinkerbell and Wendy
I was born and raised in a little country called Belgium, but moved to the US after marrying my husband. His job takes us to many different locations, right now we are living in the Bavaria region in Germany (but our address is still in the US and mail gets forwarded here). I speak Dutch, French, English, and a little German that I'm trying to brush up on now that we actually live in Germany. I just started working as an Independent Scentsy Consultant, and am very excited to get my business going.
I love traveling, and learning about the history and culture of new places. I don't watch much tv, but I love Disney movies and anything Disney in general, and reading. I also enjoy cross-stitching.
I love getting all kinds of postcards, but if you don't know what to pick, these are some things I like:
* I love cards with dogs/puppies on them (dachshunds are my favorite since I have dachshunds myself)
* dolphins
* cute animal cards
* teddybears/stuffed animals
* historical places
* things typical for your country
* Disney or Disney characters, Tinkerbell and Mickey Mouse are my favorite
* funny cards
* sunsets or city nighttime views (I love seeing everything all lit up at night)
* trains
* vintage cards
* military themes and places with military significance (if you're on a military installation, I'd love a card from that post/base)
* recipe cards
From Belgium: if you happen to have any postcards with old or current Belgian trains or train stations on them, I would love those!
During the holiday season I also enjoy Christmas cards, and birthday cards in April and May. If you are really crafty, then handmade cards are welcome, but please no printed photos or ads.
handwritten or in an envelope are both welcome, whichever you find easiest. If you don't know what to write, I always love to hear about where you live and what is typical for the area! Or why you picked that card. My mom collects postage stamps, so if you have some nice stamps, it would make her happy too!!
