Hello Postcrossers,
My name is Monique, I'm 49 and together with my husband and our daughter (18) we live near the greatest port/harbour of Europe called Rotterdam. Our son (21) has just left home so it's a bit quite. In my free time I like to go for a walk and enjoy nature or to go shop with my husband or daughter.
In June we go to France for two weeks. My husband is going to bike The Alpe d'Huez 6 times on one day (!) for The Cancer Foundation. Together with 8000 others. This mountain will also be part of the "Tour de France" 2013. I'm very proud of all those bikers and runners who participate in "Alpe d'HuZes" (the name of this event).
