Hello, my name is Monique and I live with my cat in Leeuwarden. It's in the northern part of Holland. Before that I lived 17 years in Amsterdam! But now I'am back at my roots.
My hobbies are reading, walking and crocheting. Favorite countries for holidays: Greece and Scandinavia. I'm a vegetarian (already more than 20 years) and crazy about animals!
I love to send and receive cards, it's so much more personal than email or sms. Every card tells you a litle story! That's why i like to read the text of old cards you can buy at fleemarkets.
I prefer to receive handwritten cards without envelopes. Suggestions for cards that i like:
* animals (especially cats and owls)
* art (e.g. J.W. Waterhouse, J.E. Millais, Rossetti, Norman Rockwell, Sir Lawrence Alma Tadema)
* reading persons/ books/ libraries
* needlework (e.g. people who crochet/knit/sew/cross stitch)
* funny cards
* surprise me! I'm not that picky :-)
