I am currently working at an Emergency Veterinary Clinic, and planning to pursue a career in English Education. I joined PostCrossing as a way to reach out to the world; I LOVE to travel, but rarely get to leave my own little part of the world. What's better than having the world come to your doorstep?
As far as what kind of postcard I prefer, anything is great. I'm really not picky. But if you must know, here are some things I enjoy and would adore seeing on a postcard:
Unique views/pictures of your country - I'd like to see parts of your country that aren't typical "tourist" attractions. Everyday/average things are just as fascinating as famous things!
Graffiti - Any kind of renegade art I love. I'm especially fond of railway graffiti.
Music/Bands You Like - I spent a lot of time listening to music and finding new bands. Music recommendations are loved!
Ceramics/Pottery - I love working with clay, it's something I've been doing since I was very young.
Tea - I adore tea! Tea pots, tea cups, tea leaves... Anything tea related.
Handmade Cards - These are especially treasured. I make postcards myself, so if you're interested in a trade let me know.
Gargoyles - This may be something difficult to find, but I collect lots of gargoyle pictures and the like.
Unique, "Odd" Cards - If you don't think I'd like it... I probably will. ;)
But, really. Anything is welcome! I treasure each postcard I receive, and they always make me happy.
Also, if you're stuck on what to WRITE on your postcard... draw me a picture! Be creative, I'm all about expression through art.
