About Venla...

I´m Venla and 20 years old. I´m living with my husband Riku in Jyväskylä, Central Finland. We got married on 13th August and of course I´m interested in the wedding cultures of other countries. :)

I´m studying Education at University of Jyväskylä. In four years I should become a class teacher. Postcrossing is a very diverse project, and I hope I´ll put it to good use with the children I´ll teach. Multicultural education can be funny, thanks to Postcrossing!

Especially, I love reading and writing: novels, little stories and poems, everything I like. I´m also keen on history, art, drama, snowboarding, knitting, gym and skiing. I love travelling! I´ve been to Russia, Estonia, Sweden, Norway, Denmark, Germany, the Netherlands, Belgium, England, Switzerland, the Czech Republic, Hungary, Cyprus, Greece, Portugal and the Canary Islands. In the summer I´m going to interrail with my husband and to Canada with my mother and brother. My mom turns 50 in July.

I love snow, lakes, swimming and flowers, the sun, chocolate, huge hugs, my family and friends, smiles and babies. I believe in Jesus Christ and get from Him so much power and joy. I think we all should remember that this time, little things in our lives and everybody in the world are so important and unique.

I like all kinds of cards! But I know - when I write like this, you have some problems to choose the card. So, especially I love:
art
babies and kids
people
religious things (not only Christianity, I´m interested in every worldviews:))
funny, weird and touching cards
love, wedding cards
Christmas and birthday cards (in December)
historical cards
handmade cards, especially made by kids
and of course typical tourist cards, it´s wonderful to see how beautiful the earth is. :)

I will become happy if I can read some literature of your country. I would like to understand it too. :) What have you read, what kind of books and authors do you like? What´s your day like? What have you always thought, what´s it like to live in your country?

So the only rule: what would you like to tell me today?

Und da in Deutschland, Österreich und in der Schweiz: ich liebe Ihre Sprache und Kultur. Schreiben Sie mir auf Deutsch, bitte.
