Hello there! My name is Mikko. I am 44 and I teach Spanish and Hebrew at an adult community college ("kansalaisopisto" in Finnish).
I live in the town of Rauma on the west coast of Finland. I am married. My wife (Napo) is a postcrosser, too. We have no children of our own but we love children and animals. We also like gardening (at summertime). We have a rather large garden with lots of fruit trees, bushes and flowers.
I like the idea of getting beautiful postcards from all over the world. All kinds of cards are welcome, but if you have difficulties in deciding, here are some suggestions:
- views from your hometown or country (preferably single-view cards)
- animals or plants typical of your country (I'd also like you to tell me their name in your own language and, if possible, the scientific "Latin" name, as well)
- paintings, sculptures or other kinds of art objects
- I also like self-made or self-printed cards so you're welcome to use your imagination and creativity. But please make your cards standard size (10x15 cm) or smaller and rather not 3D cards. I file my cards in an album and very big cards or 3D cards won't fit there.
