About Mecu...

Hei! I'm almost forty years old, a woman & a mother from Hämeenlinna, South Finland. I work as an expert for NAS. I'm interested in history, mythology, archaelogy, other cultures & people, and I like sending & receiving mail. Books, genealogy, geocaching and postcrossing are my dearest hobbies.

I'd be happy to receive any kind of card, but to give you some ideas, here are some motifs I especially like:
- books,
- full moon,
- wild animals (NO pets or farm animals),
- medieval castles,
- forest or lonesome trees,
- children's book illustrations (no Disney),
- J.R.R. Tolkien or LOTR,
- misty landscape from your homecountry, or
- a frog card is always a safe choice :)

I would like to hear something about you, your hometown/country or about the card you choose for me. Write me a lot! - I love to read. If you don't know what to write, you can guess what my avatar is or what NAS stands for or perhaps recommend a good book for me. :)

If possible, please send me written single-view cards with real stamps (no envelopes). Thank you! :) And if choosing the card feels hard, please take a look at my favourites on the postcardwall. I've put there some postcards I'd like to receive. More wishes can be found in my Forum profile. :)

From Finland/Suomesta mielummin jotain muuta kuin paikkakuntakortteja, kiitos! :) Lastenkirjakuvitukset, kirjat, virkkukoukkuset ja sammakot ovat ikisuosikkejani.

NINA FROM TAIWAN! I received your card in May 2011 but I can't register it because the ID is over 365 days old. Sorry. http://www.postcrossing.com/help/what-are-expired-postcards
