About Maria...
Hi!
My name is Maria, or just simply Masha. I'm married, I haven't any children. I was born and live in Moscow. I have 2 wonderful animals - ferrets.
I love hockey, knitting, walking, going to rock concerts. I love open air rock festivals, and every year I go to the festival "NASHEstvie" (translation "Invasion", the biggest open air rock-festival in Russia). I love to listen the groups Queen, Rammstein, The Rolling Stones and the Russian rock (Lyapis Trubetskoi / Undervud / Brigadnyi Podryad / 4aif / Zdob Si Zdub and others :)).
I will be glad to every card that you choose for me. But most I liked:
- SPORT (hockey, boxing, biathlon and any other sports), Olympic Games;
- Postcards with crocodiles (photos and drawings);
- Images ferrets, minks, ermine, sable, arctic fox, muskrat, otter, siberian weasel and others fur-bearing animals (alive!!!);
- Musicians and bands (rock / alternative / punk / metal);
- Pictures of Daniel Brühl (I really like this actor);
- Military hardware (cars / airplanes / helicopters / tanks / weapons et cetera) and WWII;
- Funny cards (black humor, "national" humor, gallows humour are welcome);
- Something unusual in your country or city (mountains / bridges / railway stations / strange or mystic buildings) ;
- Postcards UNESCO, United Nations, UNICEF, WWF, PETA;
- Public transport, metro and taxi;
- Birthday cards (my birthday on the 13th June 1984) - please send it to me in May and June;
- And a New Year cards (not a Christmas, I don't celebrate this religious holiday)!
For German users: I really want the Weltzeituhr on Alexanderplatz (also I would like to receive everything related to the history of DDR).
Please do not send me postcards related to:
- Baby (If your card shows a child, he must be older than 10 years);
- Bible stories (if this is not the cultural heritage);
- Cute kittens or nice cats;
- Advertising and free postcards;
- Quotations of famous and unknown people. I prefer to read citations in the books, but not on the cards.
It would be great if you have written on the card more than just "Hello, I'm from XXX. Good-bye!" You can write about your nearest national holidays, how people in your country or you celebrated it. You can write about the history of the creation of any monuments, buildings, special places et cetera in your country. Or you can write about interesting facts about your country or something in your country. Maybe it is well-known for you, but perhaps I don't know it.
I will be glad if you write a few words on your native language and if possible with a translation into English (or Russian, if you know ;)).
Please, write the date on the postcard. Also nice and beautiful stamps are welcome. :)
PLEASE, PLEASE write carefully my address - I live on YAROSLAVSKOE SHOSSE!!! If you will write it incorrect, postcard can travel more time or get lost. Do not rename!!!
Without envelopes, please.
And sorry for my bad English.
