About Alisa...

Hi there!

My name is Alisa, I'm 29 years old, originally from St.Petersburg, Russia but all of a sudden got married and now live in Mumbai with my husband since december 2014. Learning Hindi and enjoying my new life here :) UPDATE Moved to Canada in 2018 :) Don't worry about sending me a duplicate card as I left all my received cards in Russia and India :)

I'm a traveler, I visited 34 countries so far, the longest trip was at my honeymoon in October-November 2014, we spent 1.5 months in South-East Asia and visited Thailand, Vietnam and Cambodia. Also I love to read books, my favourite writers are John Fawls, F.Scott fitzgerald, Gabriel García Márquez, Fyodor Dostoevsky, Anton Chekhov, Orhan Pamuk. Enjoy watching movies and TV-series as well (I'm big fan of Sherlock BBC, The big bang theory, Friends, Bad education, House M.D. and lotsss of others :P) Music is my next passion. Hard to say what exactly, almost everything, it depends on my mood.

Well, let's go back to the postcards :) If I may ask, please, DON'T send me multiview, handmade, selfprint, old, double, ad and free cards.

So I'd like to receive:

- Totoro
- Maiko girls from Japan
- books and bookstores
- grocery shops, markets, street cafes
- Friends, Misfits, Skins, The big bang theory, House M.D., It's always sunny in Filadelfia TV-series cards
- colourful map postcards of US States
- macarons, cupcakes, muffins, cute tableware, cute coffee and tea cups
- anything from here:
http://www.flickr.com/photos/118618427@N06/favorites and http://www.postcrossing.com/user/Marylend/gallery/favourites
- typical houses from your area
- local food
- local people
- colourful map card of your country or city
- typical or on the opposite special landscape from your country
- retro cars and trams for my husband (it this case could you please mention his name - Ashutosh - on the card?)

... or just pick up a card that YOU like and tell me why it's so special for you :)

Maybe you could recommend me a good book to read written by author from your country? If it is translated in English or Russian I would be really happy to read it!

I prefer cards written and stamped. If it possible, use nice stamps. I like them very much!

I wish you all the best and Happy postcrossing!

P. S. I am considering starting penpaling or maybe postcard-paling but don't know how :P So if you are interested, please let me know! In English or Russian :)
