About Martine...
Hello,
My name Martine. I'm 27 years old, live in the city of Alkmaar in The Netherlands and I'm a graduated Graphic Designer and I have my Associate Degree Cross-media Communication. Now I work as a social media manager for a company in Amsterdam.
I have several hobbies: reading, writing, Tai Chi, watching movies and TV shows, drinking tea -I'm a tea addict- and I'm a big music lover. That also explain why I go to so many concerts and festival.
Another thing I love to do is diving and travel, by car, plane, boat, etc. In 2012 I traveled to Indonesia, Singapore, Vietnam, Thailand, China, Cambodja and Hongkong. It was so great to visit Asia. December 2011 I went to South-America (Peru, Ecuador, Chili, Antarctica, Falkland Islands, Argentina, Uruguay, Brazil and the Caribbean) for 3 months, and that was a great trip too!
I've also been to a lot of places in France and Belgium. In
Greece: Corfu, Santorini
Italy: Venice, Catania, Naples, Rome and Livorno
Portugal: Azores
Germany: Berlin, Hamburg
UK: Tilbury, London Edingburgh, York
Estonia: Tallinn
Russia: St. Petersburg
Finland: Helsinki
Sweden: Stockholm, Visby
Norway: Oslo
Croatia: Istrie, Dubrovnik
Spain: Barcelona
Mexico: Cabo San Lucas, Mazatlan, Puerto Vallarta
Canada: Niagara Falls, Victoria, Toronto
USA: San Francisco, San Diego, Highway 1 from Fort Bragg to Monterey, Big Basin, NYC, Yosemite, Lake Tahoe, Colorado, Ketchikan, Sitka, Juneau, Pittsburgh, Niagara Falls, Florida and many more places.
And the Bahama's, were I did a lot of diving. I would love to see much more of this world. If you went to a place I should go to, let me know!
In my home I have a big collection of Miffy items. I collect the book "Miffy on her bike" in different languages. At the moment I have it in Dutch, English (American, British), French, Italian, Fries and Japanese. I also have the book "Miffy" in Turkish. I received that one from a fellow Postcrosser.
I would like to receive postcards from your hometown/country so I can explore the world by postcard. All cards are welcome, I would like to see what interest you. If you like to surprise me, please do! And let me know why you picked that card. I like my cards written and stamps on, not in an envelope please.
Looking forward to get your postcard.
Happy Postcrossing,
Martine
