She has been a member for over 2 years (847 days).I'm 28 years old "girl", interested in all countries,cultures and languages. In addition to that I love to send and receive mail, so Postcrossing is answer to my wishes.
On my spare time I enjoy reading, writing letters, watching movies (somewhat strange stuff mostly, like old horror, silent films and everything made by David Lynch), drawing and painting, going to museums or galleries, going for walk with my dog, growing flowers etc.
My interests also include things like history, politics, society, environment... and almost everything except mathematics :)
As for postcards, I'm not too picky. Each and every card will be wanted and appreciated. So feel free to send all sort of cards. Handmade ones are most welcome also!
In case you have problems to decide what to send, here is my little wishlist for your help.(But I really want to emphasize these are just suggestions,not any kind of demands).
- Art cards (It would be nice to see artworks from your country, but others are welcome too)
- I love nature, so typical animals and plants from your corner of the world would be great (also insects and reptiles go; I won't be scared) :)
- Something related to the history of your country or city/town.
- Myths, folklore, fairytales.
- Reprints of old ads, postcards, posters, vintage fashion illustrations etc.
- Old horror/thriller movies, silent films.
-Characters from children's books/films: Mole (Krtek), crocodile Gena & Cheburashka, Sandmännchen etc.
-Anti-war, human rights, environment / animal protection.
-Anything totally weird, strange, odd, nutty...Don't hesitate, I have reasonably good sense of humor ;)

Little note to Russian postcrossers:
I'm studying your beautiful but challenging language for first year, so I'm not good at it yet. Anyway, it would be nice if you wrote your card in Russian :) Or at least some sentences. I think I'll understand basic things, and if I don't, my dictionary will help me...

Kaikkea saa lähettää, ja lisäksi suomalaisista taiteilijoista voisin mainita ainakin: Hugo Simberg, Magnus Enckell, Helene Schjerfbeck, Tapio Tapiovaara, Marcus Collin.
Jos jollain on lähettää SAK:n kampanjoihin liittyneitä kortteja (esim. "Viidakon lait eivät enää ole voimassa") ilahdun kovasti. :)
Yllätykset ovat toki enemmän kuin tervetulleita.
