I am Marion, 58 years young, married and mother of 2 girls, 28 and 21 years, and a boy, 24 years old.
I live in Opperdoes, a small village in the north-west of the the Netherlands.
During the lunch for kids at school I am there for them, together with 3 other mothers. Sometimes we have 45 kids for lunch and that's very cosy. In spring and summer, with good weather, we do the lunch outside. After lunch it's playtime !
I love to read books (true stories, thrillers, historic) and interesting magazines.
I collect hour-glasses, but it is a difficult object to collect ! I also collect book-marks and giraffes.
Music ? I love music ! Especially fado from Portugal, such as Dulce Pontes, Madredeus, Ana Moura, Mafalda Arnauth, Cristina Branco etc. I have something with Portugal and made already some friends through Postcrossing. I am very happy with them !
Also love the music of Brazil, especially Zélia Duncan and Simone Bittencourt de Oliveira.
Achinoam Nini(NOA)is my favorite singer from Israël. But also Celine Dion, Luar na Lubre, Natalie Merchant and Loreena McKennitt. And I like the music of the Algerian singer Idir, "A Vava Inouva" ! Anyway, I love music !!!
I am a fan of Jamie Oliver and Nigella Bites.
We have 5 female cats, all related . And we have a Dalmatian dog named Richie. They are all very sweet !
About postcards, each one is oke, so surprise me !
