Hello, World!

My name is Alena. I'm in my early thirties, married and a happy mom of a sweet four-year-old girl. Her name is Jana but we call her Little Raccoon. :)

I work as a technical writer writing different blah-blah-blah things for the IT company I work. One day I dream to be just a writer. :) Besides being a mom and a hard worker, I'm a music fan (mainly indie rock), a TV series addict, an avid traveler, a beer lover and foremostly a true bookworm. When I have some free time, I either read from my Kindle or watch science-fiction and (of course) TV series like Homeland, House of Cards, Fargo, Dexter (that's so depressing that it ended), Breaking Bad (I'm absolutely loving it!), Game of Thrones (though the books impressed me more), The Knick and so on and so forth. Maybe you would recommend me something new to watch or to read? I’m also in for cross-stitching. This occupation soothes my nerves and drives me into some sort of meditation when I'm totally in a mess.

-- mothers and babies (both people and animals)
-- seals are love!
-- Dachshund is love!
-- dogs (just dogs without any words or embellishments on the card)
-- mailboxes
-- Miyazaki characters (especially Totoro)
-- map cards of towns and US states
-- Route 66
-- bicycles for my husband
-- retro cars for me
-- mystical and macabre
-- amazing nature of your country
-- aquarupella les essentielles
-- breathtaking city views (single views, please)
-- something really authentic and traditional about your country like people in national costumes, cuisine, etc
-- colourful autumn cards all year through
-- Christmas topic (snowmen, gnomes, bullfinches, squirrels, cute vintage girls, gingerbread cookies, houses, etc) all year through
-- and *please-please-please* anything about My Little Pony (Friendship is Magic) for my daughter who is a true brony! :)

In fact I will be glad to receive ANY postcard from you but please do not send me AD-cards (except for those related to TV-series or movies) and religious stuff. Fully written cards with nice stamps are especially appreciated!
