Hello postcrossers,
My name is Marieke, I am 26 years old and I live in The Netherlands. I have almost finished my studies Dutch and French literature. My hobbies are reading (of course), jazzdance and photography. At the moment, I cannot travel as much as I would like to, so I let the cards do the traveling for me.
All kind of cards are welcome: landscapes, buildings, people, animals, etc. (except ad cards). I would really like it if the picture has something to do with you or with your country, region or city. You can also make me really happy with an art card (known or unknown artist, old or modern, I like it all!). And if you happen to have a card with reading people on it: please send it to me, because I'm really fond of literature :)
Please tell me something about your life, your country or your favourite book (now, or when you were a child). If you know a nice quotation or poem, please write it on the card in your own language, with a translation in one of the languages named above. The most beautiful, wise, funny texts will get a special place on my wall.
