About Maria...

Hello, dear friends! My name is Maria. I live in Minsk, Belarus.

I've got a wonderful cat called Tishka. I do really love animals, especially German shepherd dogs and marine animals( for example, whales and dolphins).

I'm a teacher & your postcards are really interesting for my pupils(on the photo you can see some of them during our trip to Gdansk, Poland). We are curious to learn about other countries and their places of attraction. So if you could send us postcards with some famous sights (castles, parks, fountains,...whatever)of your country (or city), my pupils and I would really be happy. Map cards would also be great. As far as my pupils learn English and Spanish as second foreign languages they also learn a lot about English- and Spanish-speaking countries. So if you happen to be of one of these countries we'd be grateful if you could send us a postcard with some of its sights, views or anything else telling more about it. And, please, write as much as you can because it will surely be of great interest and excitement for me and for them!!!

Nature protection is of great concern for me and my pupils, too. We take part in different activities to preserve and protect beautiful nature of our homeland. So cards displaying unique nature of your country (national reservations, lakes, forests, waterfalls, mountains, just beautiful scenery views...) would also be very welcome.

What concerns cartoon postcards, I must admit that I almost lose my mind when see cards with Winnie-the-Pooh. I really adore this cute creature. So if by any occasion you've got a postcard with Winnie and you are thinking about what card to send, could it, PLEASE, be that very card?! So, as you see, sometimes teachers can be more childish than their pupils.:)))

BUT ANY CARD WOULD BE A REAL LITTLE PRESENT!)

One little wish for friends from Russia and Ukraine: could you please write in English (or Spanish) so that my pupils had a little bit more practice in language? I'd really appreciate that. But it's not a must!!!

Thank you very much for time and attention!
