I am a woman in her thirties and a mother of four children under the age of six.

I became interested in postcrossing after having read an article about it in our local newspaper. Since I'm a housewife, I thought postcrossing could be a nice hobby for me. By sending and receiving postcards I could easily cheer up my days which are filled with routines such as cooking, changing diapers and cleaning the house - all quite a boring activities sometimes. Moreover, I'm practically all the time at home or at least in the neighbourhoods, so it's really nice to be able to "mind-travel" with the help of postcrossing.

It would be nice to receive all kinds of postcards: a postcard of your town/region/country, or a card you think I might like - a card with animals, flowers, views, babies&children, traditional food, black and white photography, cartoons, culture&languages... Also selfmade cards and seasonal cards like Christmas or Valentine's day cards are welcome!

I hope you can write me something about yourself in the card - your home, family, friends, work, hobbies, daily routines, preferences... or simply, you can tell me why you chose the postcard for me.
