I live about half-way between the nation's capital (Washington DC) and the state capital of Maryland (Annapolis). I have lived in Maryland for the last 14 years. I am originally from Ohio and ended up in this area as a result of my last Air Force assignment. I enjoy photography, beading, watercolor painting. I am in my mid 40's and the "technical" one in my family so I take care of everyone's computers when they have problems or need a new one. There is something special about getting cards the "old-fashioned" way. I have been using a film scanner to digitize years of negatives and slides and have started to post my photos on http://www.flickr.com/photos/magsmess/sets
