About Maeu...

I am a 24 years old girl.

I am an art student, so I love art in any forms. Especially photography, music, cinema and popular culture over all make my heart beat faster. I prefer a little quirky things in art, my favourites include Hans Bellmer, Morrissey and Aki Kaurismäki. Sitting in a train is one of the nicest things I know, I love to travel. I love vegan cooking and experimenting in the kitchen, so if you have a lovely vegan recipe, I would appreciate, if you could share it. I live in the moment and there is some sort of rebel within me.

From August 2009 until July 2010, I lived in Budapest, Hungary. I was on an exchange programme, studying in a local university. I got to know the city really well, learnt some Hungarian and got a lot of new friends from all over the world. I have also spent a year living in Australia when I was in high school and it was an awesome experience too.

I wish to receive postcards that are somehow unusual. The weirder, uglier or more shocking the postcard is, the happier you will make me! I wish not to receive "traditional postcards" (with landscapes, sunsets etc. touristic subject) unless they are somehow strange. So be courageous!

Also if someone happens to have postcards of some "phenomenon in popular culture", postcards of bands, movies etc. I would love to receive them! My dream is to get Morrissey-postcards via postcrossing, but I have no idea if they even exist!
