About Kevin...

Greetings from Johannesburg, South Africa.

I live and work in Johannesburg and love the South African outdoors, especially our African wildlife and traveling to interesting parts of our beautiful country.

My other interests are photography, bird watching, short-wave radio listening, fly-fishing, Geocaching (finding hidden items using a GPS receiver), genealogy (tracing one's roots) and Formula 1. I am also nuts about techie stuff, gadgets, computers etc.

I am happy to receive postcards that include scenes of your country, unique land marks, cultural art, sporting or historical events and beautiful images of cities and your country, but please don't let this limit the kind of card you send me as I am happy to receive any card providing it is tasteful.

I would be delighted to receive limited edition cards or cards that are unique (made from wood or cork etc. - yes they do exist!) and special event stamps.

Please don't send me "ad" cards, blank cards nor cards in an envelope (unless we have agreed to this). I do prefer written and stamped cards. Beautiful stamps are really appreciated :)

If English is not your first language, it would be interesting to get a short greeting in your own language but please translate it into English for me.

Should you wish to swap cards, please send me a message. I have had many requests for swaps and would like to please everyone. Note: Do not be offended should I not respond immediately, it maybe that I have a number of swaps already in progress. Do try again.

Happy Postcrossing!

I have received a card from Kiev but the card did not include the sender's name nor a Postcrossing ID. If you sent this card, please send me a message.

My expired cards (hopefully the cards will be received and when they do, I will remove it from this list):
