About Marita...

I´m 26 years old and I live in Turku, on the south-west coast of Finland. But I´ve lived most of my life in Central Finland, near a city called Jyväskylä. I moved to Turku in August 2004 to study at the University of Turku. I´m studying German and Italian translation and Hungarian. Currently I´m finishing up my MA thesis and doing the last courses, hopefully I´ll graduate later this spring. I hope to find a job as a translator someday but in the mean time I´m working in a grocery store.

I love learning new languages and I already know a bunch so if you can speak any of them, please, do write in that language. I can always do the practise. :D Besides learning languages, I love learning about other cultures and also getting to know new people around the world. My other dear hobby is penpalling, which I haven´t been able to do for sometime now due to my studies and working, unfortunately. :( I also enjoy doing handicrafts, mainly cross-stitching, knitting and crocheting. Oh, and of course the typical reading and listening to music. :)

Ja samat toiveet pätee myös Suomeen - varsinkin pienemmät paikkakunnat ja karttakortit, jos vain sattuu löytymään, toivottuja. Myös maisemakortit Suomesta ovat tervetulleita, tai jos vaikka olet ollut matkoilla ja sieltä on tarttunut mukaan ylimääräisiä kortteja, niin tännepäin saapi laittaa tulemaan.. ;)
