Hello fellow Postcrossers!

I'm Mary. I'm an expat living in Tokyo for the past 20 years now. I have 4 grown children. A couple of years ago my youngest daughter encouraged me to join postcrossing, and since then I've loved this project. It's always heartwarming to look into my mailbox and find a postcard from a random person from another part of the world.

I love reading novels (mystery, suspense, detective stories, science and legal fiction). My favorite authors are Douglas Preston, Michael Crichton, Robin Cook, John Grisham, Lee Child, Dan Brown, Tess Gerritsen, Michael Connelly, Stieg Larsson, J.K. Rowlings, James Rollins - to name a few. I love watching action, comedy, crime-detective, documentary films(National Geographics, Discovery Channel). I'm a big fan of The Big Bang Theory, Will & Grace, HIMYM, CSI series, Bones, Criminal Minds, Stargate SG1, Men In Black, Jackie Chan movies, etc. I'm not very fond of drama or tear-jerker stories. There's too much drama in life already. (^.^) I also love to cook. My other hobbies and interests are cross-stitching, stamp collection, nature walk, and visiting shrines/temples/churches. (There's a kind of serenity in these places that is very soothing).

Any kind of postcard that you've selected to send me is very much appreciated. But I would be very happy if you can send me postcards of my favorite themes, as follows:

- colorful and vibrant postcards on any theme
- shih tzu dog
- vintage postcards
- forest and nature
- castles, villas and old houses
