About Stéphanie...

Dear globe-writers,

My name is Stéphanie, I'm 35 and I'm from France, in Burgundy , you know... great wines ...exquisite food :-). I have a baby since 2011,November ... An adorable little boy.. It's the « bonheur » !

I've always loved beautiful stationery and original cards. So Postcrossing is perfect for me : I adore to send (paper) mails but I haven't enough friends to satisfy my passion !! And it's just fabulous to have news from the world with postcards !

In my life, I try to take my time... I live without TV or cell phone, it's a big chance !! So I have the time to do many things : knitting, making home-made yogurts, learning about essential oils, having good time with my family, reading comics and novels... I practice Yoga too... and I would like to learn Italian !
And I really want to live in a yurt with my boyfriend Hugues (who wants to build this yurt !!...). We want to have a garden, with flowers, vegetables, orchard, with hens and a goat !...

I also like (ideas for cards...) :

- Illustrations for children's books, ( I've been bookseller for 6 years)
- Cinema and especially the movie makers David Lynch, Pedro Almodovar, Tarantino, Hitchcock ...
- Legendary actors/actresses : Marilyn Monroe, Marlon Brando, George Sanders, Gene Tierney, Ava Gardner and so on,
- Music : Serge Gainsbourg, Air, Velvet Underground, Lou Reed, Angelo Badalamenti, JS Bach, Sia and so on,
- "Girly cocooning" : knitting, cooking, tea time (every card in relation with tea, tea time or/and cakes is welcome. It's so sweet !),
- the Art of Bathing (soaps, baths, spa ...)
- to sleep late (la « grasse matinée » in French),
- English humor,
- Italy and Italian culture ( and Italian cinema !),
- Japan and Japanese culture * : cherry blossoms-sakura, geishas, kimono patterns, kokeshis, samurais, mangas, Miyazaki & Studio Ghibli, Gothic Lolitas, Hokusai & woodblock prints, tea ceremony and so on,
- Painters : Georges de la Tour, Mark Ryden, Lorenzo Mattotti and many others,
- Andy Warhol : pictures, fashion designs, movies, music (see Velvet & Nico), The Factory, "Superstar" Edie Sedgwick and so on,
- Black & White,
- Vivid colors,
- Gardens, flowers (especially Bougainvillea)
- Mediterranean countries (seascapes, culture, villages...)
- Chinese shadows,
- Paper lanterns.

These are only some (good) ideas to choose for me a card. But of course I'll be glad with a nice tourist postcard or anything else. Or surprise me with a card completely funny, weird, unusual...

I'm very curious to discover your card and your message : you could write about a book or a movie that you like, for example. Or about your dream(s), your fear(s), or your favorite word in your language...
(But...Please no cards written with a SINGLE sentence, like "Happy Postcrossing" or "Greetings from" ...).
