About Olga...

Hi, my name is Olga (or Lola) and I live in Belarus.
I teach English at the University and my hobbies are photography, cinema and creative writing. At the moment I am working on the lectures for a University course on photography is visual studies and I got so much involved into it!

Well, speaking about my favourite writers, they are Richard Brautingan, Vladimir Nabokov and Julio Cortazar. I travel a lot and enjoy meeting people all over the world. Actually, the greatest inspiration for me comes on night trains!

I'd really appreciate getting your postcards with artistic photographs (I really enjoy old, vintage or just black and white images) that reflect your inspiration for living! :) And it is also always very interesting to read what you write on the back of the chosen postcard. I also hope to find some future pen-friends here with whom I can exchange writing e-mails or snail-mails.

ps speaking about the cards - to tell the truth, I DO NOT REALLY LIKE LADSCAPE TOURIST CARDS, they look boring and formal to me, so please, if you have a choice of what card to send me DO NOT CHOOSE A NATURE or a CITY POSTCARD that it the first thing you see when you go the the book-store. To me they really have no soul or character and look similar to each other wherever they come from. Try to be original and show your personality - I am sure you can do that!

ps I would be happy to receive a MOOMIN card or an Alice in Wonderalnd origical card or a Winnie-the-Pooh card or any goold golden period Hollywood card, I just go crazy for Audrie Hepbern, for example - I have a lor of books about her, so any image of hers would be simply perfect!
