Hello from Seattle!

I like knitting, playing my harp or piano, painting, scrapbooking, dyeing, yarn, sewing, anything crafty and going camping. I love anything with art, churches, nature, celestial etc! I love science-fiction and fantasy and anything spooky or ethereal. My favourite artists are Brian Froud, Arthur Rackam, Trina Schart Hyman, Tove Jansson, Julia Margaret Cameron, Edward Burne Jones and Alan Lee. My favourite authors are Dave Duncan, JRR Tolkien, Diana Wynne Jones, HM Hoover and Nathaniel Hawthorne.

***I particularly like handmade cards,*** but anything you want to send is fine – send something that YOU like! If you MUST send an ad-card – please have it be in a language other than English.

Please don't send me cards with clowns! I really hate and fear clowns.

I don't really like city or multi-views anymore. And please write something on the card - there is nothing worse than a card that only has the ID# written on it! And PLEASE do NOT use an envelope! I keep my cards in a double-sided clear album and envelopes ruin it! If you can't think of anything to write, just tell me how to say "Hello" in your language!

If you speak German or Gaelic better than English, feel free to write in those – It helps me practice! Also, my husband speaks Spanish and Russian, so he can read those cards to me as well.
