I have hobbies that didn't exist a few years ago but also enjoy the very old hobby of genealogy. Postcrossing came to me through Geocaching. I live in San Francisco, California but grew up in southern Wisconsin, about 30 miles from Milwaukee and 70 miles from Chicago. I love long-distance travel by train; woods, theaters and art museums are my happy places.

Looking forward to "meeting" you, enjoying your postcard at a local coffee shop, and looking you up on the map. I'd like to hear about your day, what you see out the window or politics in your area and/or your opinion about the political situation my country.

My favorite kinds of postcards are: Maxicards (both kinds), landscapes, forests, beach scenes, humor, handmade, seasonal, any holiday, views you could walk right into, nice stamps, and special postmarks. Envelopes are appreciated if your postcard is fragile.
