About Linda...

I have grown up son, daughter, and a grandaughter. I am a nurse manager in a nursing home and have 6 dogs and a cat! I enjoy walking my dogs on the beach, and collecting antiques and especially like vintage 1900's postcards. I have kept and put in albums every postcard I have ever received.

My son lives in Adelaide, South Australia and I've been out there several times to see him and my sister who is in Perth WA.

I have got a chihuahua called 'Bobby' who is a real cutie! He has a wife called Angel and we occasionally have puppies which are delightful. My other dogs are a spaniel and a Dogue de Bordeaux (French mastiff). I also have a ferret called Lily who is very tame and gets on well with dogs and cat. New additions are Ted and Peter the sons of Bobby and Angel. They come to work everyday with me. My job is a nursing home manager.

I live in a Northumberland which is a very beautiful county. Plenty of walks here and the Northumberland coastline only 10 minutes away by car from my house. We are within easy reach of some beautiful castles, one being Alnwick which was used in the Harry Potter films. Others are Warkworth, Dunstanburgh and Bamburgh. Newcastle upon Tyne is the nearest city, 15 miles away and is a vibrant, multi-cultural big city.

I would like any sort of postcard really, but love views and native animals - vintage cards if possible would be great. If you are from Finland I LOVE the Moomins! If from the Far East I love oriental designs, especially dragons. I save all my cards in albums and enjoy looking at them now and again. I enjoy a gossipy card! It's wonderful to think of everyone as a potential friend.
