Dear reader,
My name is Liesbeth and I am from the Netherlands. I have a Guinea Pig, Ibbeltje (named after a book character from the famous dutch writer Annie M.G. Schmidt,(1911-1995). The city I live in is called Hilversum and is the media city of the Netherlands. This region is also known as 't Gooi. I love different cultures, books, music, movies, discovering new places, world history, relaxing, spring & summer, crafts, swimming, bicycling, nature, animals, people and lots more ...
I volunteer in a Fair Trade Store. (There are 400 of these stores in The Netherlands) In Dutch they are called "Wereldwinkel". We sell all sorts of items hand-made by people from developing countries who are able to make a living for themselves and there families because they get a fair price for what they make.
Postcrossing is a fantastic idea, I love to know more about different countries the people who live there and there traditions.
You would make me very happy with a card from your own country or town.
That can also be a mountain / statue / building / monument / animal / something traditional .....
I would love it if the name of your country or town is on front of the card.
I also like funny postcards, vintage, animals, landscapes, sea/beach, sunny, rain, mist, English cottage, Prague, wellness.
