About Lhise...

Hello,

I'm 37-year-old woman who lives in the south west of France, with my boyfriend and our two Persian cats.

When I was a teenager I was a very active penpaller, so postcrossing is like a rebirth.

My hobbies include stitching, cross stitch, embroidery, patchwork and quilting, sewing, knitting, photography, blogging...
I would love to hear about your interests and hobbies.

I like especially unusual pictures, cutie drawings/illustrations, Blythe doll (received: http://www.flickr.com/photos/21483317@N05/sets/72157623049560686/), postcards with a multitude of identical items, cats, sheeps, lavender, bird houses, red poppies, ladybug and also beautiful landscapes or something illustrating your country and its traditions, nice houses, old or colourful windows/doors/fences, streets...

I prefer single views, I do not really like postcards with multiviews. There are always exceptions but they are... rare!

For Finnish postcrossers I love Kirsi Neuvonen (my early collection http://www.flickr.com/photos/21483317@N05/sets/72157622453374090/) and Raija Nokkala (my little collection http://www.flickr.com/photos/21483317@N05/sets/72157622646142056/ ) but viewcards are great too.

For Dutch postcrossers I love windmills, clogs, tulips, colorful fields, the beautiful architecture of your houses. I looooooove the illustrator Fiep Westendorp with Jip & Janneke (my big collection -lol!- http://www.flickr.com/photos/21483317@N05/sets/72157622423349504/). I love his other drawings too!!!

For Asian postcrossers I love cards with chinese calligraphy, prints with ideograms, blooming trees.

For Australian postcrossers I love cards with Aboriginal Art.

For postcrosseurs living near the sea, I like postcards showing small fishing boats and/or small fishing villages.

♥ If you have some talent, handmade cards are welcome. :o)

Check out my favourites wall to see the sort of cards I like. I update this wall now and then.

I prefer cards written and stamped without envelope. I love beautiful stamps.
But if you want to write much or if the card is handmade and in need of protection, obviously you can put the card in an envelope ! :o)
I prefer cards posted from their original country.

Any day I find a postcard in my mailbox is a good day!

Really looking forward for your card and I hope I can also make many of you happy with the cards I send. I do my best to keep in mind your preferences.

I try to register postcards the same day that I receive them.

Please take a second to look through the postcards I have already received, I don't like getting the same cards.
