Hi, I'm Laurie, also called Mel. I live in one of the most beautiful scenery in the world. Between the mountains, with many lakes and rivers, where others vacation. Since I collect postcards and love to travel, I combine these hobbies now through Postcrossing! And, of course, it's a great thing for my Boy. To learn, how big our World is.

I'm a Single-Mom of a 4 year old boy who loves Firefighters sometimes more then me. We love the nature, our big eco-garden, owls, different landscapes and cultures. If you send us a Card, we really would know who you are, what you do, where you live and what's so special about your hometown. Any interesting Legends or traditions? Write about it! We would prefer it, when you write in your own language, maybe with an englisch Translation.
