About Laura...

I love to receive mail and I'm happy with every card arriving in my mailbox especially when beautiful stamps are used and when it's filled with interesting text on the back (so I prefere to read more than only "Happy Postcrossing" on the back). But I would lie if I would say that I like to receive all kinds of postcards. Like everyone I do have cards I prefer so when you like to make my day then I would like to receive (in no particular order):

- black and white photography
- animals (I like all animals so even a card of a strange or ugly animal is welcome) and nature (flowers, plants, landscape, sea, beaches, mountains). Especially nature and animal photo's by Frans Lanting, Ansel Adams, Man Ray and so on
- the country or place where you live or one you recently have visited (please tell me about it).
- Art (I love the work of Franz Marc, Monet,Kollwitz and so on )
- cards with a detail of things like for example a part of a staircase, door or window, a part of a birds wing, animal eye, leaf of a tree and so on.
- and every other nice looking postcard. Just look at my favourite postcard wall to get an idea about what kind of cards I like. Ad, free and homemade (esp. good quality photographs) are welcome when they look a bit like the cards at my favourite postcard wall.

Rather no Disney or Moomin cards(yes I know I seem to be the only one in the world not liking them)nor Christmas/Easter/Valentines day cards.

About me:
I'm 37 years old, married, no children. I love among other things: reading books (suggestions are welcome), my 3 cats, cooking, nature, gardening, photography, playing board games, music (when there is music out there I must hear don't hesitate to tell me about it on your card), collecting stamps, phonecards and eurocoins, eating out and of course receiving and sending lots of mail (cards and letters).

I register the cards I receive right away, except when I'm on holiday of course but I'm never away long so don't worry. Don't ask me to register a postcard I've never received as I won't do that. I also stopped adding cards I receive to my "favourites postcard wall" as there are too many and my "favourites postcard wall" was getting too full in my opinion. But that doesn't mean I don't love your card!
