I love designing and making things in general: from buildings to skirts for my girls, from furniture to crochetted hats and from bags to (of course) postcards. Therefore all the postcrossing-cards I send will be handmade.
I’m not collecting postcards or stamps (so no envelope necessary). Postcrossing interests me because it can give me a look in the lives of (till then) total strangers. So when you send me a postcard, make it personal!
Tell me something about yourself that is not yet in your profile on the site: what are your dreams, what do you like to eat (send me the recipe), tell me a secret that lies heavy on your heart (I’ll keep my mouth shut), what book is your favorite? If the card is not big enough I don’t mind a letter instead.
Personal can also mean that you design and/or make a card yourself. When you’re a designer, send me a picture of what you make. Is quilting your hobby, make a miniquilt as a postcard. Draw the animal you like or take a picture of your favorite spot in your house, your beautiful garden or your working space and write on the back of it.
