*** If you are from the Netherlands, could you use a postcrossing stamp? That would be great! ***
Hi, I am a 26 years old PhD student and love getting post and getting to know new people from abroad with their cultures and traditions.
All kind of postcards are welcomed but especially those
- which show interesting or typical places, costumes or celebrations of your town or your country;
- related to every kind of dance (especially tango and traditional dances, but also ballett, ballroom dance etc.);
- with food and sweets;
- with images related to books (overall childrens books), reading or writing;
- that are related to music or even show traditional instruments from your country.
So you already got an impression of some of my main interests. :-)
I would love to know more about wedding traditions and customs in your country, culture or family. Do you have special ceremonies or a special dish? That would be interesting to me. Many thanks!
I discovered my love for Inge Löök and Monica Maas postcards thanks to postcrossers from Finland and the Netherlands and I'm looking forward to enlarge my collection! :-)
Please write a bit more than just "greetings" on your card, no matter what. You need some ideas?
Write about you, your day, your favorite hobby, what is important for you, about the postcard or a traditional recipe. Thanks to all of you who already sent me one. :-)
I really encourage you to write in French, Spanish, Arabic or Farsi if you know it.
If you put a note in your mother tongue and its translation, I'd be very happy as well.
I wish happy postcrossing to all of you!
