Hello postcrossing friend.
Ilive on a farm with my husband.Have two sons. One is married and has two delightful little girls and a baby boy.
I have a horse i ride for pleasure,also a welsh mountain pony he is now 7 i have broken in and trained my own horses and have trained the pony to harness as well.I have had a number of dogs and at the moment besides the little heading dog i have a Golden Retriever, she is now 2years old and I trained her as a Therapy dog,she is now visiting resthomes and disabled facilities,when i have the time to take her, the folk there love her. Have a ginger cat,he is a real character, also a couple of pet sheep,4 hens and some fish.
I trained as a nurse many years ago and also in Bodymind Therapy. My recent occupation has been as an Ambulance Officer.
As well as my animals I enjoy reading,writing,photography,gardening,writing to penpals,postcard collecting,complementary medicine,and of course playing with my grand daughters.
Unfortunately my computer is only on a dialup system so i am unable to upload pictures etc to the site or scan them in for your perusal prior to receiving. I am not too sure how well this will go but a friend invited me to this site so I will do my best.(Same friend has taken pity on me and uploaded an Avatar so i am no longer a ?. Bless him. The Avatar is my dog Sheba at 8weeks old.)
I enjoy meaningful quotations so if you are stuck for something to put on a postcard a quotation will do fine.However i am interested in you and your environment. I don't mind what type of Postcard as long as it is meaningful to you and you tell me why you chose it. I love nature scenes and dogs and horses, not caricatures or dressed ones though,it is always a delight to find a meaningful card in the mail with a lovely note from the sender.

I also want to thank those of you who have already uploaded the postcard you sent to me and those who will do so in the future, thankyou for being understanding regarding my slow dialup system that doesn't allow me to up load pictures.
