Postcrossing is a great idea. I'm 33 and live in a small town in central Germany. I love ALL cards but I especially love receiving cards showing:
- your city, town, landscapes, any famous sight or anything else (clothes, food, people, animals ...) which is tyical for your country.
- cards related to movies or tv series: for ex. Lord of the Rings, Pirates of the Caribbean, Sherlock Holmes, CSI, Criminal Minds, Simpsons ...
- actors / actresses: Johnny Depp, Anthony Hopkins, Jude Law, Shemar Moore ....
- musicians (esp. of the metal, darkwave and gothic scene, or Depeche Mode)
- Native Americans
- flags
